Fresh in this week...

Our stunning 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 looks incredible finished in Guards Red, and with it being a low milage example it really is the "Holy Grail" for Porsche purists.

The 911 GT3 - the product of Porsche Motorsport - is the 'entry level' model in a four model line-up that also includes the GT3 RS and two race cars. It is purpose built on-line at Zuffenhausen and is genuinely one of the best drivers 911s ever. It's fantastically tactile, irresistibly engaging and fitted with one of the most thrilling flat-six engines Porsche has ever built. The short-stroke, dry-sumped boxer six revs to a maximum of 8400rpm and with the help of a mild ram-air effect from the engine cover air scoops, a larger intake butterfly and an increased compression ratio it develops a heady 409bhp @ 7600rpm. This gives it an exceptional rating of 114bhp per litre making it almost as powerful as the twin-turbo fitted to a standard 996 Turbo. Far from detracting from the 'drivers car' experience, the standard fitment of adaptive suspension, traction control and air conditioning all add to its appeal - PASM allows it to be more sporty for track days, traction control offers a (switchable) safety net and the extra 20kg is a modest penalty to pay for the benefits of air-con.
