On Friday the 28th November, Knockhill Racing Circuit kindly let Aston Martin Edinburgh use their facilities to host a 'Track Day', in conjunction with Barclays 'Little Book of Wonders'.
The team from Aston Martin Edinburgh set off early from the dealership in their convoy of Aston Martin's to prepare for the event which would turn out to be a resounding success. Upon arrival however, we were greeted to the Knockhill area by a wall of fog. This was far from ideal as we were expecting the Aston Martin Racing truck to arrive carrying the Vanquish, V12 Vantage S, N430 and GT4 car which were being delivered from Headquarters in Gaydon! Thankfully, the fog had lifted by the time that our 30 guests had begun to arrive allowing us to proceed with the day as planned.
We split the day in to three sections to allow everyone the chance to experience Aston Martin in various environments. On track the guests were offered to drive the Vanquish, V12 Vantage S and N430 models. This was hugely popular amongst our guests with many asking if they could do a few extra laps later! On the road, we had the full range of Aston Martin's to allow our guests to experience the day-to-day usability of our cars. Finally, we had the pleasure of welcoming GT4 Racing Driver, Jonny Adam, along to run 'hot laps' for our guests throughout the day which left many of his passengers speechless for the rest of the day!
The event was a huge hit with everyone that attended and we couldn't have done it without the support of the staff from Knockhill Racing Circuit, Aston Martin Racing and all of the professional drivers.
