You’ll remember that back in November last year we were lucky enough to welcome the Aston Martin DB10 from the James Bond movie Spectre to our Edinburgh showroom. One of only two remaining cars from the original 10 specifically made for the film, the DB10 was a massive draw attracting well over 200 people to the showroom to catch a glimpse of the special car.
Over 3 months later and one lucky bidder is now the new owner of Mr Bond’s car. It didn’t come cheap though as the anonymous bidder had to fork out in excess of £2.1million for the memorabilia at the Christie’s charity auction, which by the way, can’t be driven on public roads.
Built at the Aston Martin factory in Gaydon, the model has a 4.7-litre V8 petrol engine and a top speed of 190 mph; its design giving a glimpse in to the future design direction for the next generation of Aston Martins.
Unfortunately, your opportunity to buy a DB10 has gone. Don’t worry though, as we have a fine selection of Aston Martin icons and future classics which are available in the showroom now!
These cars are being targeted by investors with similar vehicles appreciating in value and being sold on for higher prices than ever before, so now is your chance to become your own James Bond and grab a piece of Aston Martin history.
