BANG FOR YOUR BUCK

Proving it’s not just Big Shots at Rolls-Royce, our Rolls-Royce team took home the Top Rookie Flush Team trophy at the The Shoot charity event on Sunday (August 14).

Out of 42 teams of shooters, our two groups, representing both of our brands did a great job.

Even better than this, though, was the amount raised:

£270,000!

This will be split between Maggie’s cancer care charity and JDRF diabetes charity.

We were honoured to be involved in such a wonderful event, and provided the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Edinburgh Tented Village and the Aston Martin Edinburgh Champagne reception.

The day was a roaring success – 380 guests including some familiar faces like Scotland rugby’s Ally Kellock and comedian Fred Macaulay spent the day at Auchterhouse Country Sports near Dundee.

Teams worked their way around the course, completing eight sporting stands, a team flush and then a flypast – where they shot down model aeroplanes.

Non-shooters were spoiled for choice when it came to entertainment - hair and beauty treatments, diamond cleaning, a cookery demo and a ‘have a go’ clay pigeon shooting stand were all on offer in our Rolls-Royce Edinburgh Tented Village. A Pimm’s bar and live music made sure everyone was relaxed and enjoying themselves too.

We had four stunning Rolls-Royces and three sleek Aston Martins on display, which proved very popular for selfies!

Our Aston Martin Edinburgh Champagne reception began at 1.30 and was followed by a fabulous lunch and prize giving. The auction and raffle for a Mini Cooper were fairly raucous and raised an enormous amount for two wonderful charities.

It was a pretty late finish – everyone was having far too much fun. We congratulate the organisers on a brilliant event and look forward to seeing many of the guests again soon.
