To celebrate the launch of the new Aston Martin DB11, the team at Aston Martin Edinburgh went on a three-day road trip across Scotland. The journey began on the 18th January when two DB11’s and a Vanquish S arrived at the dealership from the Aston Martin HQ at Gaydon. Our own Vanquish Volante, Vantage V12 S Manual and Rapide S joined the cars as they set off on their road trip across the country.
After an exciting few hours driving, we all arrived in Aberdeen where we spent the night. We woke up to a surprisingly beautiful day in Aberdeen which was made all the better by the picturesque surroundings of the Marcliffe Hotel grounds, which would be our base for the day ahead. The day consisted of customers testing the striking new Aston Martin DB11 and Vanquish S. After 19 test drives of the DB11 and 6 in the Vanquish S we all headed back to home to prepare for our second day on the road.

On Thursday morning the team was back on the road again with the convoy of luxury cars as they began the second part of the road trip. As we arrived at the stunning Cameron House by the shores of Loch Lomond we began getting ready for our second day of test-drives. This time was a little quieter with 11 test drives of the DB11 and 5 of the Vanquish.
After a good nights sleep, we awoke ready for our busiest day yet at the stunning Cameron House Hotel again. The morning was fully booked with 9 test drives of the DB11 and 4 of the Vanquish S. That afternoon we were joined by members of the YPO (Young Presidents Organisation) for a day of activities. The members also took part in a series of test drives of the DB11 and Vanquish S as well as three Rolls-Royce cars, with the Wraith Black Badge, proving to be the most popular of the three cars.
Overall the three-day road trip proved to be a huge success with everyone involved saying how much they had enjoyed driving the Aston Martin DB11 and Vanquish S. We hope this have given our customers an idea of where we are heading as a company in the future.
