With Leven Car Company he was keen to create something special. Being awarded the franchise for two of the world’s greatest brands – Aston Martin and Rolls-Royce – was a source of great pride and so the highest standards are upheld throughout every aspect of the business.
Together with his son, Chris, the Managing Director, he has created a company that is loved by both its customers and staff.
The team has been carefully chosen so as to offer a wealth of experience to the customer but also to create the best possible working environment. Hugh is particularly delighted with the recent expansion to include a second dealership at One Corstorphine Road, where some of the greatest pre-owned luxury and supercars can be found and the same high standard of service is on offer.
Chris has had a passion for the motor industry from a very young age, and a huge enthusiasm for cars.
Working in the family business throughout his education, Chris graduated from The University of Newcastle Upon Tyne with a degree in Marketing and Management. He resumed his career in the industry and has enjoyed a number of roles across the business since then, gaining valuable insight into every department.

He then went on to work for Peter Vardy Ltd for another 8 years in HQ and supporting the dealerships around Scotland before taking over the Porsche Aberdeen Sales Department for 3 years, where he won Global Sales Excellence Award 2013.

Throughout the 14 years in the trade Emma has worked with various brands but in her words, with “nothing quite as spectacular as Aston Martin, not forgetting the Supercars”.
She joined the team at the start of 2017 having moved to Scotland from Chester three and a half years ago. Away from work Emma enjoys going for walks with her dog and she is also a keen photographer. That’s when she’s not skydiving, bungee jumping or wing walking for charity!

Rodger has excellent product knowledge and has built exceptional relationships with his customers over the years. He had previous experience with TVR and Mercedes-Benz, however his passion has always been cars, from a very early age.
In his spare time he enjoys following motorsports, working on his series III Land Rover and spending time with the newest edition to the family, his Grandson, Harris.
He says people are what makes the job for him, he enjoys meeting new customers all the time. He would find it difficult to choose an Aston Martin as they are all appealing in their own right, but for a normal day he’d prefer a DB11 in cobalt blue.

Joe started off as an apprentice in June 2016, however he wasn't a completely new face to most of us as he previously worked in the showroom on a Saturday as showroom host, for around a year before hand. For now, Joe deals with all of our pre-owned stock imagery and social media channels, as well as getting involved in events, and other Marketing related tasks.
He's a petrol head to say the least, he's been photographing cars the last three years and has his very own automotive photography media platform where he posts his work, and it has over 83,000 followers!
For Joe, his favourite car in our showroom would be the Vanquish S Volante - "theres nothing that beats the sound that V12 produces... and with the roof down what's not to love!"
Joe is now looking forward to his new role within the company as Group Marketing Executive!

Steven really likes the new Vantage because "It looks like a concept car that has turned into a reality!"
He said "Having worked at a low end brand like Vauxhall and then a more premium brand such as Audi, the difference was noticeable but the cars I work with now have no comparison. These are the finest pieces of craftsmanship & engineering money can buy."

He enjoys motocross (dirt bike) racing in his spare time, as well as car restoration.
If John was to pick his favourite modern-day Aston Martin it would have to be the V12 Vantage S... and that's all down to the noise and performance stats the car produces. However, he is a keen enthusiast for classic cars too.
Michael joined us in September 2017, he was a master technician at Hyundai for two and a half years and started off in the motor industry as a Cosworth specialist for an independent garage.

She likes to keep fit, outside of work she participates in Crossfit sports (which includes weight lifting, gymnastics and body workout). On top of this she enjoys cycling, sailing and swimming.
A dream of hers is to eventually one day own an Aston Martin. Her Aston Martin of choice for every day use would have to be an all black DB11 (with carbon fibre exterior badging). However, for the weekends she would have a Vanquish S for the sheer noise and drama that glorious V12 engine brings.
Liam joined the company in June 2017, however he is not a fresh face to the motor industry. He previously worked for Macklin Motors and MotorClean.
If he was to choose his favourite Aston Martin it would be the Vanquish because he likes the sleek and sporty design of them.
When he is not working he likes to play Golf and Football.
“I take pride in my work and like to make sure every job is completed to the highest of standards.”

In his spare time he likes to spend time with his friends and family as well as training at the gym, boxing, watching the football and socialising whilst out for dinner.
After leaving his school - Craigmount - he went into the car valeting business. Audi took him on from here and soon after he found himself working for us. After all, he couldn't risk the opportunity to work with cars such as Aston Martins.
He dreams of being able to drive the Aston Martin / Red Bull Racing car (Valkyrie) one day and his favourite Aston across the model range is the GT8 because it's loud and stands out from the other models.

Neil started his career journey as soon as he finished studying at Inverkeithing High School, he was in the Youth Training Scheme with St Johnstone Football Club to start off. From here he then progressed onto retail in warehousing and he started his motor trade career as a valeter for five years - before he started with us in May 2016.
